Founded in 2009, Shagga Restaurant specializes in classic Ethiopian dishes that have been in the owners’ family for generations. Owners Kelem and Adamu want to create a comfortable experience for their diners with a relaxing atmosphere, friendly service, and authentic Ethiopian cuisine. Check out Shagga Restaurant’s delicious menu items, including the sambusas, the Doro Wot with tender chicken simmered in red pepper sauce, garlic, onions, herbed butter, and boiled egg, and the Yebeg Awaze Tibbs with lamb cubes sauteed with onions, garlic, green peppers, tomatoes, and herbed pepper sauce.
Shagga is open Mondays through Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant accepts credit cards, takes reservations, and provides delivery, takeout, pescatarian options, vegan options, catering, private lot parking, bike parking, free WiFi, a full bar, and wheelchair accessibility.
